I love sharing the tools that Yoga has given me to live a happier, healthier life and seeing how Yoga can benefit everyone.
I have a clear understanding of how yoga can positively influence both performance and athlete wellbeing.
Increasing strength of muscles, joint stability and mobility of the athletes can not only positively influence performance but also helps prevent injury. Yoga is a great way of promoting ‘pre-hab’ – looking after your body to prevent injury before it occurs. So often athletes get injured, partake in rehab (often including yoga style exercises) and then give up on these fundamental strength, stability and mobility promoting exercises only to find the injury returns.
I have vast experience working with teams or individuals in a variety of settings and to meet many different needs. I can bring along all equipment needed. Working closely with both coaches and athletes is important to ensure the yoga programme can be tailored to meet the individual needs of the athletes and the programme as a whole.
Yoga is amazing at counteracting ailments that come with modern work practices. It is particularly effective at reducing or preventing lower back pain and neck pain and decreasing stress levels. It is also a great way to build a team atmosphere by partaking in an event together or even completing some group/partner poses.
Group events to meet your needs, organising equipment and venues. From hen do’s to festivals and birthdays – yoga is an amazing way to bring people closer together. Sharing an experience such as yoga can be a memorable event and an awesome gift to loved ones.
Yoga during pregnancy can have so many benefits to both mother and baby. Improve strength, decrease stress and prepare for childbirth.
